About Nea Ferrier

Nea teaches Ashtanga yoga practice and philosophy in Dubai and as a visit and retreat teacher internationally.

She is a KPJAYI level 2 teacher, authorised in 2010, and the founder of Ashtanga Yoga Dubai and Nilaya House.

An avid student of yoga for 20 years, Nea continues her studies in Vedanta, Tantra, Ayurveda and Veda Chanting, alongside remaining a committed practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga.

Nea is a Menstruality Mentor, certified by The Red School, and is passionate about sharing menstruality as the ultimate spiritual practice for women.

Nea’s teaching style is gentle, compassionate and intuitive, drawing on 15 years of daily teaching and focused on guiding students to find their own balance between effort and letting go, and to practice in a way that is sustainable and supportive for various life stages.

Ashtanga Yoga Full Primary led class

Join Nea for a Sanskrit-counted full primary led class. The class will include a short talk on the methodology of Ashtanga Yoga, a guided breathing practice and suggestions for useful modifications and approaches to the asanas, making it accessible for all.


10-11.30am

Keeping Your Practice Alive – Wisdom from Patanjali 

Join Nea for a yoga philosophy talk, drawing on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra on the recommended techniques and attitudes for deepening and sustaining yoga practice. Suitable for all yoga practitioners.

Ṛtu Viḍyā: Connecting to our Inner Moon

Just like the lunar cycle and the seasons, we too as women have our own internal cycle and seasons. Connecting to our menstrual cycle is the doorway to greater health, wellbeing and spiritual development.

As yoga practitioners, our yoga practices can be guided by our cycles and adapted accordingly.

Join Nea Ferrier for a lecture on the topic of menstrual cycle awareness as well as a restorative yoga practice. Also suitable for women experiencing peri and menopausal symptoms. Men interested in this topic are also most welcome to join
